|This morning's sunrise was so pretty!|
Today I did another treadmill run, 6 miles with 6 gliders. I did five miles at the same recovery pace as yesterday and then did the gliders starting at a 6:00 pace and worked up to a 5:30 pace. I was pretty happy with how the run went and felt like I was able to work on speed and my leg turnover with the gliders. And, my calf is feeling much better. I busted out my Trigger Point Footballer yesterday and really tried to give my calf a good massage, so I guess that helped.
I feel like I'm getting a bit of a sore throat (again), so I think I'm going to go to bed somewhat early and will try to sleep in tomorrow and maybe do some recreational napping. I plan to spend the rest of my weekend (when I'm not sleeping or running) working on writing my dissertation. I have a lot to get done, so I'm actually really looking forward to getting a lot done this weekend so I can feel good about everything I accomplished. That's what I'm hoping for, anyway.
